#3 Le petit son pour tes petites oreilles de la semaine

Oyé Oyé ! Cette semaine a été tellement secouée par 45 ouragans dans ma vie que je n’ai pratiquement écouté que de la madeleine de Proust niveau musique.

C’est le Royaume-Uni qui nous propose ce groupe assez pop pour leur période. L’histoire ne se termine pas très bien, car le groupe se sépare en 2003 pour accomplir divers projets en solo. Leur meilleur album est également leur tout premier : Ocean Drive (1995). Feu mon oncle aimait énormément ce groupe. Mon souvenir de môme, c’est ma maman écoutant frénétiquement cet album dans les mois qui suivirent son décès. Étonnamment, cet album évoque pour moi essentiellement de la douceur, des moments que nous passions à retrouver la douceur de vivre après la difficulté. Je ne me lasse pas d’Ocean Drive, qui s’impose à mes oreilles assez régulièrement quand la vie me demande d’être très adulte de manière un peu trop intense.

Cet album, c’est de la douceur, de l’apaisement… et des rires dès que tu essaies de prononcer le nom du chanteur : Tunde Baiyewu.
